Meet the Bloom Crew

It all started with Donna’s small backyard garden in South Rockwood, Mi— a produce patch with tomatoes, peppers, zucchini, and whatever else could find a spot in the small patch of soil. Then, a few cut flowers were added to the mix— mostly just for fun and to add some color around the house. Before long, the garden was stretching in rows, we grew our favorite types of flowers, then one thing led to another, and then came the dahlias. We were constantly finding excuses for “just one more” (or 15) varieties every season.

Since those early days, the garden has more than doubled in size— it’s safe to say the produce started it, but the flowers won.

With Donna at the helm and her daughters, Chelsea and Tess, fully on board and contributing to the “just a few more ” antics, Donna’s Garden and Dahlia Farm was born.

These days, flowers have a way of taking over just about every conversation, every free hour, and every spare corner of the garden. We spend our time planting, picking, planning, and inevitably convincing ourselves to expand. Some may call it a compulsion—but we’ve accepted it and are happy to pass it along to you, one tuber or bouquet at a time.

Flowers on your mind? Same.

Whether you need help picking the perfect stems, have questions about your dahlias or what we offer, send us a quick note and let’s make something awesome together!
